What you need

12 fl oz full fat milk

1 tbsp light-brown sugar

¼ tsp fine sea salt

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1 ⅛ oz dark chocolate

1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
0 Roughly chop the chocolate and set aside. 1 If planning to make your own whipped cream, do so now so that it is ready when the hot chocolate is finished on the stove. 2 In a heavy bottomed pot add in the milk, cocoa powder, light brown sugar, and salt. 3 Heat over medium low heat whisking frequently until steaming and the cocoa powder and sugar have both dissolved. 4 Once hot and steaming, turn off the heat and add in the chocolate and vanilla. Let it sit for 1-2 minutes. Then, whisk continuously until all of the chocolate has melted. 5 Pour into your mug and top with whipped cream or mini marshmallows!View original recipe
